1-on-1 Guidance in Pet Loss Grief
Gentle & Personal

to help you process
your grief for your
beloved animal companion.

When the sorrow of your loss is silent,
but everything inside is screaming

You don’t have to carry

the loss of your beloved animal companion by yourself.

In our conversations, there’s room for it all —
the tears,
the silences,
the guilt,
the love.

This is a space for your story.
For your rhythm.
For the way you move through this moment.

And we’ll be there — beside you.

✨ What can you expect?

You’re at the kitchen table.
Hands wrapped around a warm mug of tea.
Outside, the wind stirs.
Inside, you can breathe.

You might speak about the loss.
About how the house feels too quiet now.
Or you might say nothing at all — and that’s okay too.

In one-on-one conversations, everything is welcome:
sadness, guilt, powerlessness, anger, love, emptiness.

We might talk.
We might draw.
We might write a letter to your beloved companion.

And from time to time… we just sit together with what is here, right now.

Here, you don’t have to do anything.

You can simply be, breath…

Here, you don’t have to fix anything. You can simply be.”

Sometimes, if it feels right, we may use creative exercises or cards to gently explore what’s there.

Aftercare

After our conversation, you’ll have something to take with you — a writing prompt, an anchor sentence, or a small ritual.

Something you can hold onto at home, in your own way.

Memory Diary

Reflection prompts, writing, and ritual moments.

Prefer to start on your own? That’s perfectly fine.

Not everyone wants to talk right away.
Some prefer to feel, to write, to retreat for a while.

That’s why I offer gentle tools you can use at your own pace, in the comfort of your own space .

Someone once brought a collar.
We placed it on the table, alongside a rose and a Polaroid photo.

We let the words flow.

On small stones, we wrote down what stayed with us.
She slipped one into her coat pocket.
“Then I’ll have something to hold on to when I let go again.”

The one-on-one sessions are a safe haven.
For those who don’t want to be alone.

For those who need to feel someone standing beside them.

Without judgment. With presence.
For you. For those you miss.

And for what you haven’t yet been able to say.

1-on-1 pet loss support session

How do you meet words that stir your anger?
That make you retreat into yourself?
That leave a mark on your heart?

“After Max passed away, I was left with an empty house and a broken heart.

When I tried to speak about my grief, I heard things like,

‘You have to put it into perspective — it’s just a dog.’

I almost felt guilty for how deeply it hurt me.
As if I wasn’t allowed to feel that way.

Yet Max had been there for everything: every morning walk, every quiet moment, every difficult day.

At Regenboogpootjes, for the first time, someone said to me:

‘It’s normal to feel this way. Your grief is real.’

It gave me room to breathe.

The conversations, the ritual at his urn, simply being able to tell his story without judgment…

It wasn’t a luxury.
It was a necessity.

Here, no one looked at me strangely.

Not even when I asked why my other dog Luna was so quiet, not at all playfull as she used to be…

Here, I was allowed to simply… mourn.”

There is no right way to grieve. Only your way. And that way is perfectly okay.

Just beyond the horizon,

there’s a place called the Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal you love leaves this life,

they walk across the Rainbow Bridge.

There, soft meadows stretch as far as the eye can see. Gentle hills. Warm sunshine.
A place where they can run, rest, and play again—free from pain, free from age.

The ones who were tired find their strength again.
Those who were ill are whole once more.
Their eyes shine the way you remember,
and their body feels just as it did in your happiest days together.

It is a place of joy… but one thing is missing: you.

They play with new friends, yet their heart still listens for your footsteps.

Until that one moment—one perfect moment—
they suddenly stop.
Their gaze lifts.
Their whole body trembles with joy.

They have seen you.

They run—

faster, lighter, closer—

until you are finally within reach.

Your arms wrap around them.
You breathe them in.
Their nose presses into your cheek.

And in that instant,

nothing has ever been lost.

You look into those familiar eyes,
the ones you’ve carried

in your heart all this time.

And together,

side by side,

you cross the Rainbow Bridge.
